I know it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been 5 months since I last posted\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 but I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been kinda \u00e2\u20ac\u0153busy\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6. 6 weeks holiday: UK – Hong Kong \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Singapore \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Australia \u00e2\u20ac\u201c New Zealand \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Cook Islands \u00e2\u20ac\u201c USA \u00e2\u20ac\u201c UK. No more than 3 days in any one place, LOTS of flights (17ish), 3500+ photo\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s and some killer jet-lag for christmas \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Obviously, this break left me with a fair bit of catching up to do \u00e2\u20ac\u201c both at work and in my \u00e2\u20ac\u0153real life\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

The mini-note (HP 2133) was been superb \u00e2\u20ac\u201c it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s everything I was hoping for in a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153netbook\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the reviews generally speak for themselves \u00e2\u20ac\u201c so I won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t bore you with another one\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6. but suffice to say it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s now running Windows 7 and it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s flying \u00e2\u20ac\u201c much better than Vista I have to say!<\/p>\n

I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m hoping to post a bit more now \u00e2\u20ac\u201c work is interesting\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 VMWare is looking like a winner in our investigation of what Virtualisation software to use, Exchange 2007 is upcoming (pending proof we can support IPhones with it) and a gentle roll-out of Windows 2008 (and maybe SQL 2008) is looking likely \ud83d\ude42 I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m finally getting my head around sysprep \u00e2\u20ac\u201c as we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re finally rolling out XP \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Vista \/ Win 7 is a while off due to some DOS requirements (I kind you not!) so hopefully I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll have some bits to blog about soon \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n

I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve also caught the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Twitter-bug\u00e2\u20ac\u009d http:\/\/www.twitter.co.uk\/slimboyfat<\/a> if you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re interested (I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve had the account for quite a long time \u00e2\u20ac\u201c but never really \u00e2\u20ac\u0153got it\u00e2\u20ac\u009d until recently)<\/p>\n
