Over on the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/ie\/archive\/2005\/08\/10\/450117.aspx\"><tag>IE Team Blog<\/tag><\/a> there&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.msdn.com\/ie\/archive\/2005\/08\/10\/450117.aspx\">post<\/a> on how you can add custom search engines to the new Beta of <tag>IE7<\/tag> (apparently Beta 2 will include the ability to do this without hacking your registry&#8230; nice!!) They use <tag>MSDN search<\/tag> as an example&#8230;. and I&#8217;ll bet it&#8217;s easy enough to bodge it to use Technet instead &#8211; how handy would that be?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.seanalexander.com\/\"><tag>Sean Alexander<\/tag><\/a> has <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.seanalexander.com\/PermaLink,guid,04a7843f-bbdd-460b-8d49-8c7848bad52f.aspx\">posted<\/a> a link to a zip file that enables you to automatically add 32 &#8211; yes, you read that right 32! &#8211; &#8220;custom&#8221; search engines!! He also (very kindly) includes instructions on how to create your own entries, and some other tips for using the search functionality of IE7.<\/p>\n<p>Very, very cool &#8211; and user extensible&#8230;. as <a href=\"http:\/\/thomashawk.com\/\"><tag>Thomas Hawk<\/tag><\/a> would say &#8220;<tag>Hot Donkey<\/tag>&#8220;!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How cool is this?
